My mum is best friends with Issac Mizrahi and sent him a link to my blog wish list and he SENT ME A DRESS FORM!!!
I have never been so happy! I also ended up playing in the box for a few hours tossing around packing materials. It was excellent.

My bestie Caitlin gave me a Michaels gift certificate so I could restock my yarn that got mangled by the dryer during the bug fiasco. She is the best. She also gave me a bunch of craft floss which I have been using to practice my embroidery.
Exhibit A.
I made some really cute hair combs for my sister and her two besties who came for christmas. I also crocheted my mom a necklace. I didn't have time to block it, but it came out really nice. I am proud of my tiny stitches. I also ended up crocheting a link of sausages for my dad, don't ask, and he loved them. They were really fun to make. Especially pulling them out of my bag on the subway. The look on people's faces was priceless.
I got a lot of other great things. But these were the top of the crop. Hope ya'll had a excellent holiday. I am headed back to laying around watching crime shows, drinking tea and crafting. Full Grandma mode :D
